Raj Bahbra BSc(hons) Ost

Raj trained at the British School of Osteopathy, graduating in 1993,

The owner of the centre, Senior Therapist and he heads up the young and gifted team.  Raj is the “backbone” of Addlestone Therapy, he established this highly successful therapy centre in 2000 and practises as the Senior Osteomyologist, with full professional insurance and membership of the Association of Osteomyologist.  For more information, please see Osteomyology for physical disorders

He qualified in 1993 from the British School of Osteopathy. He has a wealth of experience with a particular interest in the treatment and management of golfers. Raj himself is a keen golfer, so this area holds a special interest to him.

Before establishing the therapy centre, Raj worked as a locum and associate and in an independent practice. This vast experience strengthened his desire to open his own therapy centre and treat patients within the local community.

The London School of Osteopathy had the privilege of Raj working as a clinical tutor for 2 years, where he shared his knowledge and experience. Raj is well known and respected within the local community and by his peers. He has close links with the local GP practices.

Osteomyology is a study of bone and muscle; ‘osteo’ being bone with ‘myo’ being muscle.

Osteomyologist work with both joints and muscles.  Members of The Osteomyological Association come from a diverse range of professions including Osteopaths, Chiropractors and Physiotherapists who share their particular realms of knowledge and experience with each other. The long term aim is to achieve more unification between the various physical therapies.

Ankita Desai

Ankita Desai, Osteopath BSc M.Ost GOsC

Ankita graduated from the British School of Osteopathy with a Master’s and has been a registered Osteopath with the General Osteopathic Council since 2016. After graduation, she promoted Osteopathy as a complementary medicine in India. She ran her own clinic in Mumbai and worked in an elite sports orthopaedic hospital for 2 and a half years, and mentored 5th year Osteopathy students from Australia who interned in the hospital.
She is passionate about allowing patients to improve, through osteopathy, movement, and rehab and promote self-management for all her patients. Ankita has done a course in dry needling, Pilates and an obstetrics course and many pregnancy CPD courses.  She enjoys working with patients of all ages, with a special interest in sports injuries, neck and back conditions, knee pain, pregnancy, and postpartum care.

Jean Peters MAChPod HPC

Jean Peters MAChPod HPC

Jean has been a qualifies Chiropodist and Podiatrist since 2000.  She also has over 20 years experience in Holistic Therapies and in Skincare treatments.  Her qualifications include Reflexology, Aromatherapy and Sports Massage.  She is also a Reiki Master.

She runs a busy practice at the Doctors Surgery in Datchet, where she has working since 2000.

With a wealth of knowledge that she has accumulated throughout the years, she is able to identify with and acknowledge the patients’ specific needs and therefore provide the individual the care they need.

With her professionalism and experience she will identify what treatments are specific to your needs and do her best to care and treat you.

Beckie Shaw CNHC CThA ITEC

Beckie is a full time Massage Therapist and a member of the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council and the Complementary Therapist Association. She qualified in Holistic Massage with ITEC in 2005 and has been working closely with Osteopaths and Chiropractors for the past 16 years. Specialising in soft tissue release using massage, trigger point and myofascial techniques to help alleviate pain, and mobility related, muscle problems.

She is also qualified in Nutrition and is Reiki Master in the USUI Reiki system.

Beckie combines all of her knowledge and experience in order to tailor each treatment to each client’s individual needs.

Dr Zain Haider, Facial Aesthetics

Dr Zain Haider is passionate about aesthetic medicine and making his clients feel as good as possible in their own skin. Having been an NHS doctor for 22 years, he hasthe outmost care for his patients and clients. He obtained his 1st aesthetic qualification over 10 years ago and has been doing treatments ever since. He will only offer procedures once he has full confidence it is the right thing to do by and for you. He holds Advanced Botox and Dermal Filler Qualifications and has done hundreds of procedures in and around Surrey.

Jimmy Jung, Sports Massage Diploma

Jimmy Jung, Sports Massage Diploma

Jimmy is qualified to level 3 in Sports Massage and he is currently in his final year of a 4-year Masters Degree in Chiropractic. He is experienced in the Health and Fitness industry working as a Fencing Coach and has completed triathlons, half marathons, is currently training for the Berlin Marathon and is a semi-pro boxer. Jimmy is able to work with a broad range of clients of all fitness levels and ages and is excellent to adapt his treatments to get excellent results.

Sam Bhide, Physiotherapy

Sam qualified in 2006 and holds a Master’s in MSK Physiotherapy (2010). She is an Independent Prescriber (2022), Injection Therapist (2016), a Diplomate Member of FSEM (2021), and an active member and leader within various professional networks.

Her roles include:

  • Co-convenor of CSP London FCP Support Network
  • CSP Spokesperson and Core Member of the CSP London Regional Network (2024)
  • Executive Committee Member of PCRMM (2024)
  • NASS Primary Care Champion (2021)
  • Guest Lecturer at Coventry University (2024)

Sam is also a published author and is co-authoring the upcoming textbook “MSK Essentials for Primary Care” (due 2025), aimed at enhancing the knowledge of MSK and rheumatological conditions for primary care professionals.
